Dream Madly, Pursue Wildly, Trust Completely
In anticipation of my upcoming book, “Dream Madly, Pursue Wildy, Trust Completely: What You Wanted to Be When You Grew Up” coming out July of 2011, I want to pose a question to you today.
When you were a little girl or boy and your dreams were only limited to the extent of your imagination, what did you dream for, what did you hope for, what did you believe for?
Remember when you were a little girl or boy and fell and immediately got up without a second thought or played outside and your only enemy was those darn street lights that signaled the time for you to come in and stop your play time of discovery? How about the challenges or pursuits you had, the model airplane, the tea party set up, the club house that you were determined to finish if it killed you, your parents and the kids down the street?
Remember the trust and rest you had long ago before you learned that trusting was a fool’s game? Remember before the hurts, harm, and sorrows when you could just sleep, rest and stay in the moment trusting that your mom or dad was going to be there or hold you and keep you safe?
What would happen if we could go back there? What if we could return to a place before life and others told us that we couldn’t live out our dreams or we were somehow not deserving of our dreams? What if we could live in such a way that while living with others our lives did not give power to the views of others in our lives or obstacles in our present and in our pasts? What do you think would happen if we walked out our dreams, walked out the fullness of our potential, lived a life of courage, passion and an attitude of nothing to lose and most importantly pursued a life that mattered for us, for an eternity and those we left behind?
What if we lived a life where we Dreamed madly, Pursued wildly, and Trusted completely? It is possible. We’ll find out why we don’t live this way and how to begin living this way in July of 2011. Join me. You can do this!
