The trouble is not that we have wounds or even that we failed or were harmed. The trouble is that we often buy into the huge lie that there was a problem with being wounded or failing. Somewhere lies were picked up between the insecurity of a father’s rage, the immaturity of a schoolmate’s shout, or the good intentions of an overly protective relative.
Each moment, hurt, mistake, failure or mishap is part of our story. In the pain, there is always a purpose and in our struggle, there is always a story formed.
Each of us is on a level playing field for greatness regardless of our failures. Our failures do not define us only the choices we make and the actions we take after the failure count.
Take care,
Charlotte
