ENCOURAGEMENT FOR TODAY- Whom Shall I Fear?
What is your greatest fear? Is it the fear of trusting someone? Do you have a fear of being alone or unloved? Do you have a fear of people finding out that you have imperfections or great mistakes in your past?
Try taking the power away from that fear with this exercise. Write down your fear then do one thing to take away its power. Try sharing your fear with one safe person, journaling, praying about that fear, write a fictional story on a blog about that fear to help someone.
The power of fear is the silence and belief no one else shares that fear. You take the power away by shining a light on it.
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread? When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell. Though a host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, In spite of this I shall be confident.”
