The Living On Purpose Movement (LOPM) is a social movement for individuals choosing to live each day on purpose by stomping on their Fears, using their Pain for a Purpose, and adding value to their lives through serving others.
Why Is This Movement Needed?
For years, I battled with three lies. I believed my pain was too great to face, lived in fear of the failure and being found out that I was not the perfect person people thought I was and believed that my past and mistake disqualified me from having a purpose and adding value. Through my own journey of recovery and becoming a counselor, certified coach, national speaker, and author, I realize what was behind those beliefs and wrote about it in my first book, “Damaged Goods”.
In researching my second book, “Dream Madly, Pursue Wildly, Trust Completely” I found that over 50% of our population was struggling with these same issues of fear, pain, and their meaning for value in their lives.
Between my clients and people that I deal with on a daily basis, we are searching for meaning and a have a desire to live on purpose yet due to fear and a longing to stay out of pain, we hold back from those opportunities.
Although, I am a Bible-believing Christian and my hope and foundation is in Jesus Christ, I wanted to found a movement that was focused on the cause of purpose and value in the face of fear and pain. Yes, I will always believe the answer for all things is Jesus. This movement is not focused on having to be a Christian. This movement is for anyone who is tired of allowing pain and fear to rule their lives and desires to make daily attempts to move in courage to add value and meaning to their lives and more importantly to the lives of others.
