FEATURED PROFILE – Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Canton
A while ago, I had the pleasure of speaking with a wonderful young lady, Baylee Diedrich, who is a Senior Development Manager with American Cancer Society. We had so much in common. One thing that struck a cord with me was the passion for her work. The fact that she deals daily with an issue most of us would rather run from, impressed me. I asked her if I could do a profile on her amazing organization, American Cancer Society and their upcoming event.
So many of us had our lives touched by the heartbreak of Cancer. My mother passed from Pancreatic Cancer and I know of too many that have been impacted by the disease. The American Cancer Society will hold it’s annual “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” this year and I encourage you to get involved, volunteer, donate and do whatever you can to help this organization and those you love. I pray you will help them reach even more of our community and lead the fight against cancer. Here some details on the event:
The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Canton will take place at Malone University on Sunday October 24th. We can’t wait to safely bring the community together for a day of hope, celebration and remembrance!
We envision a future where our children no longer live with the threat of breast cancer and where everyone has a fair and just opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive this disease. By supporting the Making Strides movement, you help ensure the American Cancer Society can continue fighting for that same vision. Together, we can help fund the future of breast cancer research and programs for our loved ones today – and for the next generation.
