Yesterday, a woman shared with me at work that she finished reading my first book, “Damaged Goods” and she had a story similar to mine. However, she believed she could never be as brave or do what I did after going through all that. Besides, she said, “I’m too old to make a difference now.”Â
To that, I would like to encourage all of you to know, nothing is over till God says it’s over. No age, no past, no issue, no job description, no educational limitation, no disability, no abuse, no addiction, no affliction, no situation, no cancer, no illness, no thing will ever be over in your life regarding your destiny, purpose, and His plan for your life until God says it’s over. Just saying. Be encouraged. Feel what you feel, then hold onto the truth.

Each day, we have a choice to make that reflects our character and level of courage. We have a choice to blame others and be angry for why our lives are not working or get help to improve our lives and release and forgive others. Remember forgiveness is not for others but for us to move forward. We have the choice to live in fear, remain a victim of our past, and to offer excuses or we can walk in courage and faith in spite of our past and others towards our future and dreams.
Today, what will you choose? You can do this!

A question for you as you ponder purpose, direction and next steps in your life. Always keeping in mind, we cannot control God’s timing, purpose or plan ponder this question. How much time do you focus on waiting or desiring for others to do what you want or for situations to change as you desire compared to asking (and being willing no matter what to follow) the Lord what He wants of you (different location, job, friendship, etc.)? Perhaps, the desire of your heart that He has planted in you is a pulsating frustration right now because He is whispering, “Why are you listening and following everyone but Me, the One who gave you that desire in the first place. Stop striving and know I am God.” Remember, if you are at a place where you believe your situation is impossible to get out of…..that’s the perfect place where Jesus wants to remind you that it’s not about what you can do, but what He can do. Just a thought.

Hello everyone. Thank you so much for your encouragement and prayers. While Daddy is still in process of revealing how He will handle my situation and provide my great news of the day is that I am strengthen. Not because a windfall of money came in or a sudden job offer rang on my phone but because through gentle and very simple non-related situations, He reminded me to “Be still and know, I am God and what seems a surprise to you Charlotte was something I already had a plan to handle to show you that I am able long before now. Relax, you don’t have to be in control because I always am.” I am intentionally posting this to encourage someone else who might be struggling to hold on or in the midst of fear during the waiting. Feel what you feel, then hold onto to the Truth. Thank you everyone for your prayers.

Hey everyone, I have been asking you to pray for others. Today, I am in need of prayer for myself. It is a personal prayer, one of immediacy. Please pray that I will continue to stand strong in my trust of God’s provision and knowledge that He’s able. Let’s be real, yes we are Christians, however the Lord allows situations in our lives to intentionally ask us the question, “Do you trust what you feel and see and what you can do or do you trust that I am your Father, I have a plan, and I able in my way to handle the situation?” Even in my journey, may this prayer request encourage someone else in their journey. Thank you all so much.

When you look in the mirror, do you first notice the things you do not like about yourself and the things you would like to improve or do you notice the things you are grateful/appreciative for about your appearance? Everything is a choice and attitude is about our perspective. What we feel 95% of the time is NOT reality, it is just an indicator of something going on with us (loneliness, hurt, believing lies, etc.) Just a thought.
