Man, we are living in crazy times, huh? Perhaps, you are going through heartache over the passing of a loved one or dealing with financial, relational, or employment issues.
First, please know that you are allowed to feel overwhelmed, rage at injustice, and even be angry and disappointed in believing God is not handling His business. The beauty of the Lord is that He is secure in who He is and knows that we are human, have wild emotions, and struggle with Him and life in general.
Like Job in the bible, the Lord never gets bothered by hurt and being angry. Job’s one mistake was in assuming God must give an answer to why and explain Himself.
Often, we believe that God saved us to be good Christians without struggling, having questions, or hurting badly. I don’t see that anywhere in the bible. Those who He used to most were those who struggled with Him, went through great times of depression, anger, disappointment, and confusion. Remember, David, Moses, Jeremiah, etc.?
I encourage you during this time to feel what you feel, then hold on to the Truth of who Jesus says He is. Hurt, ask God the hard questions, scream, then be still and listen to His reply.
You can do this!
Take care,
Charlotte
